- What is abstraction?
- What makes a strong composition?
- What is our process when we develop a composition?
- Can abstract imagery tell a story? How?
- Can an image be abstract and realistic at the same time? Are there differences between imagery and information?
- What are the elements and principles of art and how can they be used as points of inspiration?
Objectives:
- Review Elements and Principles
- Use the elements and principles in an innovative, creative, dynamic way to express a theme/idea
- Create a blend of abstract and representational imagery
- Create a strong, effective, engaging composition
- Reflectively consider your creative process and sources of inspiration
- Refine/develop techniques (painting)
